My raptors are comprised of many different antique and vintage objects, or parts of objects. Each shoehorn, candlestick, spoon, or machine part once belonged to someone else and is, in some way, still connected to them. Also there are gifts from nature that have connections to animals and plants. All these connections, when combined in the birds, amplify, giving the birds a powerful energy that allows the viewer to connect with their magical historical resonance.
